Experience & Perspective

Luke Schartiger's path to coaching and consulting has been anything but conventional.

An Army Iraq combat veteran, Luke spent much of his early career in environments where decisions carried real consequences. After leaving the military, he worked as a Department of Defense contractor supporting Joint Special Operations Forces in Afghanistan and Africa before returning to public service through multiple roles in law enforcement.

For years, his work centered on understanding situations quickly: gathering information, assessing risk, reading people, solving problems, and making decisions in complex environments. But over time, his interests increasingly shifted from understanding what was happening around people to understanding what was happening within them.

That curiosity was reinforced by his education. Luke holds degrees in Intelligence Operations and Criminal Justice, a master's degree in Human Services Counseling, and a graduate certificate in Criminal Justice. His academic work gave him another lens through which to examine human behavior, while his professional and personal experiences continually challenged the difference between understanding something intellectually and actually living through it.

That distinction eventually became central to his work.

Luke's own life has included significant periods of change, loss, failure, rebuilding, and self-examination. Those experiences fundamentally changed the way he thinks about personal growth. He became less interested in easy answers and more interested in the underlying patterns that shape how people think, react, relate to others, and make meaning from difficult experiences.

Today, that perspective informs his work through Delta-level Connections.

As a coach, Luke works with people who want to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change in their lives. His approach is exploratory rather than prescriptive. He helps clients examine patterns, assumptions, behaviors, relationships, and experiences that may be operating beneath the surface while emphasizing personal responsibility and the individual's ability to determine what change means for them.

His work has also led him into the emerging field of natural medicine. Luke has pursued training within Colorado's regulated natural medicine framework and has become involved in the development of the field, including testifying before the Colorado Senate on proposed natural medicine legislation. Alongside his coaching work, he provides consulting related to natural medicine, drawing on his experience with the people, practices, and policies shaping this evolving field.

OUR VALUES

DEPTH

We look beyond the obvious. Better understanding begins with asking better questions, challenging assumptions, and being willing to examine what exists beneath the surface.

CANDOR

Meaningful work requires honesty. We value straightforward conversation, intellectual honesty, and the willingness to address difficult questions—even when the answers are uncomfortable.

RESPECT

Different experiences, beliefs, and perspectives deserve to be approached with curiosity rather than judgment. Understanding doesn't require agreement, but it does require a willingness to listen.
